back home in oregon

suzuki and i are back home.. been a long but very enjoyable week. will post photos and video of the trip when i get the chance.. if i forget, prod me and i will remember.. ~~ came back to find that the forums had been hacked, the coffee shop has been advised they cannot show any films at all in the future, and the cat is still healthy... 1 out of 3 isnt bad all i can say is this..... i am going to sleep in my own bed tonight and it will be wonderful :)

long day

western digital hard drive, rik left, got security called on me in kmart... been a long day so far. utah is pretty good, though the locals need to learn to drive, and keep to their own business. that is all for now. bah!

trip

will be in utah for a week.. dont count on many updates. will check email and lj but wont have a lot of time for it so .. few.. far between..  people can call me if they need to,  we have rented a car there, so we can get around.. i think i need to see belly dancing while i am there, the Zoo on tuesday, hanging with rik and everyone on wednesday..  other days are all family time (unless people call and arrange something i will assume so at least)

pbr

"I once witnessed a thumb wreslting match over a fire pit to determine the greatest beer in the world, PBR came out on top."

friends only post - movie night

Chance of Rain cafe starting around 6pm Movie Night Romancing the Stone and Jewel of the Nile mmm... good movies... tell your friends, or dont.. hope some of you can make it out

request - fellow geek assistance.

for work i need a toolbar or other similar option that will allow me to load an executable and dock it in the top or bottom of the screen. anyone who knows of something that can do this will become golden in my eyes if you would assist here. normal "sidebar's" wont do it... i have to be able to have an ACTIVE program visible in the bar... i am out of options and it would make work much easier if i could do this.. ~~ example: if i load an instance of notepad and lock it into this tray/taskbar.. i would need to be able to type in it, resizing the bar would be ideal to meet the needs of the item encapsulated. the bar MUST be dockable on the top or bottom.. thanks in advance... if i am asking too much, slap me.. but i have high hopes that this has been created in the past... and would be available now...

happy

movies that have shown up in the mail for me in the last few days... Friday: BMX Bandits (asian factory pressed pirated DVD)... one of nicole kidmans first crappy films Today: Blood Simple (Sealed DVD)... Early Coen Bros goodness DUDES (Brand spanking new 80's VHS)..... drooooooool...... monies spent? less than $20 including shipping..

Friends Only : Movie night listing

the cafe recieved a cease and desist letter for showing a couple films "illegally" lame..... looks like there is one company we cant show films from.... it was a biggie too --- By request of the cafe, movie night listings have been moved to a friends only word of mouth thing. they will still be posted on the chance of rain website, but not until i have a new revised "non paramount" list of upcoming shows. public listings may resume after we figure out if legal threats will continue. Schedules will also be listed in the cafe once they are revised here they are folks :) bring people if you want to.. remember, the second film strongly pokes fun at mormonism, so it's "bring a book if you are unsure you want to watch it" night ~~~ ~~~ MOVIE NIGHT! Chance of Rain cafe shows start at 6pm tonights films: Matt Stone and Trey Parker night! Baseketball and ORGAZMO!
