You Died: An Anthology of the Afterlife

Arc copy, though the comic was published in September 2020. While not an advertisement, I would feel remiss if I failed to state that you can pick up a soft cover copy or pdf on the Iron Circus site for $20ish bucks, pretty good deal after having seen the ARC.

Iron Circus Comics ‘You Died: An Anthology of the Afterlife”

You Died was initially a kickstarter, dedicated to comics that are centric to death. Many comics in this anthology are (or feel) biographical, others are scifi, scientific, playful. The artistic styles are vast across the 24 separate artist renderings showing detailed technical to soft sketching, beautiful art and wonderful stories. Admitedly, 3-4 of the 24 comics didnt catch my interest, but as with any collection, tastes will differ!

What you will not find in this 270ish page anthology is gore, excessive violence, serial deaths or anything else that pushes the work beyond PG13.

Because of this strict inclusion criteria, the comic work is reasonably appropriate for most ages, potentially spawning several interesting and insightful conversations about death and afterlife.
