someone got me thinking about the rain.

someone got me thinking about the rain.

seeing the rain from the 15th floor where i work is always pleasant. it comes down in sheets as people have often described in books and movies. there is a pleasant chaos that can lull you into a comfortable sleep. you watch the interference patterns and the image of the holographic world breaks off leaving you stranded, office bound. landlocked by the corporate states surrounding you.

Obviously, you can experience this from the ground as well, but having an altered height, a different perspective, and an unhindered view of the freeway nightmare people are subjecting on themselves gives me a kitschy feeling of self importance and superiority. my sleep is more fitful and deep. I am in control of my own universe and can do as i please when i please....

....till my boss offers to fire me if i dont wake up and get back to work. spoil sport...
